Aguille Forest
Aguille forest is a large forest within the County Allienthorie. It is a leaf forest with heavy undergrowth where a few animal tracks eases the traveling. The Aguille Forest stretches have its western borders in the Barony Cote Sombre and stretches ion to La Billoux. It is divided into two forests by an old road, still in use today. The two parts of the forest is called North Aguille Forest and South Aguile forest.
Most of the forest are owned by the Countess, but the barons have the right to use it as long as they pay their taxes to the Countess. Humans are mostly found in the outskirts of the forest while collecting herbs, berries and mushrooms as well as hunting and logging. There are human bandits operating from hidden bases in the forest.
Within the so called North Aguile forest there are known havens off forest trolls whom wage war agains families of Hill giants. Sometimes they are heard, but few humans have seen them. There are stories of trolls standing in the shadows of the treeline watching travelers on the road. And when travelers vanish in the area they are often accused.
Geography
The Aguille forest grows in two baronies, Cote Sobre and La Billoux. Within Cote Sombre the forest is separated into North and south Aguille, while in La Billoux it comes together into one large forest surrounding Cimbroux and the Kings road.
Ecosystem
The Aguille Forest is an acient forest mostly made up of different kinds of leaf trees. Oak trees are amongst the most common of trees in the forest.

History
In the year 602 a well equipped and experienced adventure expedition departed into the North Aguille forest to kill the Forest Troll group who have their lair in the outskirt of the forest. They never came back, and as they were wealthy and known to sport many magical items there is lots of talk to amongst the locals that someone should go in and retrieve them.
