Karstadt Goods is a general store offering quality and affordable goods including groceries.  

Purpose / Function

Karstadt Goods provides the community of the South Ward a location to purchase needed everyday products.

Architecture

The outside of the building is old, but cared for as seen through it well maintained appearance. The inside of the building is bursting with products in a clean and organized environment.

Defenses

Fritz Karstadt, the family security specialist, uses the store to try out his anti-theft designs

History

In 1846 The Karstadts first opened Karstadt Timepieces, a small shop in the center of the South Ward, with Ludwig being the designer and craftsman. Sabina ran the business and handled the day-to-day affairs. Seeing the need in the community they expanded to include general everyday items and rebranded as Karstadt's Goods. When Heinrich became of age he started working at the store. After his wedding he and his wife, Emelia, moved in to the living quarters and he took over as the location manager.
