Maiden’s Fancy

An old warehouse that had been converted haphazardly into an inn then left vacant until last year. The entrance opens into a tavern taking up about one third of the first floor that serves a dual purpose of being a waiting area where confidantes can meet their clients. Beyond that, the remainder of the first floor opens into a large entertainment venue that hosts burlesque shows. The upper level offers many rooms for the confidantes to entertain their clients. The basement houses the kitchen, storage, and dungeon as well as several more purpose built rooms for confidantes that prefer more seclusion.

Architecture

The exterior remains largely unchanged, appearing as a standard brick and wooden warehouse that blends in with the surrounding neighbors at the docks. The interior maintains some of that Victorian industrial look that is softened by luscious leather furniture, dark woods, and purple fabrics. It is more dimly lit than most might expect which gives it an air of mystery (and is much kinder to those with light sensitivity.)

Defenses

Normally staffed with three bouncers (front door, inside, and roaming). A safe room is built into the basement with an exit to the alley behind the building.

Tourism

The Maiden’s Fancy attracts tourists as it has a reputation for being a great time and offering a variety of entertainment and companionship outside the traditional.
