Lost Chapter

A bookstore off the main market square in the Central Ward, originally owned by Nicholas Kolakowski, it is now run by his granddaughter, Sasha Kolakowska. It serves a wide custom from all social classes.

Purpose / Function

A bookshop with a wide variety of books, subscription services from printers, and rare book acquisition services.

Architecture

Nestled down a lane just off the Market Square, a hanging sign reads 'The Lost Chapter'. The small storefront has several shelves of cheap books on the outside with prices of several copper.   Stepping inside, patrons are greeted by the smell of old books, much like the less travelled stacks of a library. Bookshelves cover almost every wall with tables and boxes of them setout wherever space permits. A maze-like path winds through the shop passing by a small desk with a chair. The shop has a cozy, but not entirely organized feel to it. A fluffy orange tabby sleeps on whichever table he’s been able to claim space on, but sometimes crawls into the upper shelves for a nap.

Defenses

A sturdy door.

Tourism

The bookshop attracts a wide custom, but it is just off the main market square so does not see a high volume of traffic.
