The Murders of General Val-Lorr and Emperor Stote

During the Summit, General Val-Lorr of the Kree Imperium and Emperor Stote of the Zn'rk were murdered. After investigation by the Guardians of the Galaxy , it was revealled that the Elder of the Universe known as the Profiteer had infiltrated the summit by posing as the delegate for the Sisterhood of the Badoon.

Using the access provided by her attendance at the summit, she replaced General Val-Lorr's gun with one biometrically coded to misfire if aimed at a Xandarian, knowing that tensions were still high between the Imperium and Nova Empire. After this resulted in the death of Val-Lorr during an arguement, she then also murdered Emperor Stote of the Zn'rk.

Rocket uncovered her treachery by realising that the motivation behind both murdered was to being an intergalactic war, pointing towards the Profiteer, the most prolific arms dealer in the Universe.

After a prolonged battle, the Profiteer was killed by the Grandmaster's bodyguard, Valkyrie using a Dragonfang Blade.

Attempted Bombing by the Chitauri Hoard

During the battle against the Profiteer, the Chitauri Delegate, Peacemaker, was revealed to contain a bomb. The bomb was disarmed by Prince Thor. To date, it has not been established whether the bomb was sent by Thanos, or if Peacemaker's mothership was acting alone.
