The Divines
The Divines are the gods, demigods, and spirits which created Thesilae and all the living creatures on it. They exist in a loose hierarchy which includes the Primordial Spirits (non-living beings which created the universe through sheer happenstance), the Ethereal Gods (the first deities, born from the Ether which the Primordial Spirits are made of), and the Ascended Gods (deities who were once mortal, but became divine at the end of their mortal lives). While the Ethereal Gods are capable of weaving the strands of Ether and creating new life from them, the Ascended gods have no such power.
The various gods and Demigods of Thesilae are listed here in order of creation and/or rise to divinity. Note that the Ethereal Gods were all born before the creation of any other Divine being with the exception of the Primordial Spirits.
