The White Stag - A legendary creature said to roam the icy plains. It is believed that spotting the White Stag warns of a harsher than normal winter and following it will take you to lands anew. Giants of the Ice - Legends tell of towering humanoid figures that wander the frozen landscape. History

While the region has been scarcely explored by outsiders, it is known to be home to various indigenous groups, collectively referred to as the Iceveil Clans by the people of Karida. These groups, however, do not universally identify with this designation and have a multitude of names for themselves and their land. The Iceveil Clans are reputed to be resilient and resourceful, having adapted to the rigors of their environment. Limited contact has been documented, but the isolation and extreme conditions of the Iceveil Expanse make it difficult to establish sustained communication or understand the depth of the cultures within
