Archon Magnus
An Archon of the Lightsworn of Serenia, Magnus was an icon of justice and retribution throughout the First Age. Often at the forefront of battles against Infernals, Voidborn, and creatures from The Beyond, Magnus was not only a capable warrior but an effective teacher to the Prometh that followed him. Among his most notable feats, Magnus saved the Ancient Herod when he was captured by one of The Elder Ones.
After the catastrophic events of The Cataclysm, Magnus became somewhat disillusioned with his role in the Lightsworn, and while he still held great respect in Serenia and with the other Archons, Magnus stepped away from battle and only occasionally trained someone. The rest of his time was mainly spent meditating in the Hall of Archons, away from his fellow Prometh. He would go on to train The Triad, a group of skilled Lightsworn that consisted of Uriel - The Avenger, Geulah - The Advocate, and Janus.
It was not until Dove of The Companions traveled to Serenia that Magnus took an interest in training again. Through testing Dove in word and battle, Magnus pledged to fight alongside him and the Companions against Nex during the Battle of the New Dawn, leading a group of Lightsworn against the dark forces of the Screaming Tyrant.
During the battle, Magnus was killed by his former student Janus, with Janus having gone insane. In 1006 3A, Magnus was revived by The Holy Light, with the group wishing to dominate his mind and use the archon for their schemes. After The Sanctioned freed Magnus from the Holy Light's control, he pledged to assist the adventuring group, though was later imprisoned in crystal by Janus.
