Larium

Larium is a town in the province of High Rift in the Aurean Empire. Like most settlements in the province, which is flat but crisscrossed by deep rifts that make it resemble dried mud, Larium sits on an "island" surrounded by these rifts, which are crossed by a trio of stone bridges. A large, crater like hole filled with water sits in the middle of the town, making it one of the few major sources of water on the surface of High Rift.
The town sits on a major trade route between the cities of Terminus to the north and Sepentum to the south. This route is the only major road through the The Dragonpeaks, and travellers frequently stop in Larium to fill up on water and other supplies. A road also runs east toward the mining town of Edge.
