Nightriver
No one is entirely sure where the Nightriver calls its origin. In Sanctuary it flows from the falls in the northeast, and along the Lowers before flowing out to The Black Mirror . It has never been entirely tamed. Even now dangerous crustaceans from time to time will pick off unwary folks in the Underbelch .
Tourism
One of the best reasons to visit the Nightriver is for the fishing. The subterranean varieties of fish and lamprey that are found here can be considered some of the finest dining in the deep dark. But most of what is caught is less than prize winning, and even when those once in a lifetime fish are caught it takes a truly exceptional chef to make their flavors shine through.
