The latest fad in the city, it can be found in absolutely all the fiefs despite many lords and ladies best efforts. What are they and should you be worried?

What are they

The Sweet
A small ball of transparent and tasteless gelatin with a red potion inside, it looks innocuous enough and similar to other sweets, helping it in getting overlooked.
It tastes of berries, with a pleasant mixture of sweetness and acidity and something more. You put it in your mouth and let it melt on your tongue, and its magic explodes against your senses as you absorb it.

The Magic
In addition to being delicious and euphoric, its magic has a practical effect: it destabilises the magic-carrying proteins in your body for a brief moment and supposedly without long-term consequences.
This allows you to go through fief wards without being recognised so that you can blend in a group of travelling healers or traders and leave your fief without your lord's permission.

But really?

The Truth
Tasty Treat is a recent invention from the Diviner Fief and a way to attract more people to their fief for partying and spending money. They sell them extremely cheaply and pretend they only want to be helpful and to give everyone a way to join in on the fun.
However, the sweets are addictive and keep people come back to the fief to keep spending more and more money.

The Consequences
People are disobeying their lords and ladies, escaping fiefs without permission and very often not coming back at all, ungratefully taking advantage of the home that has spent so much time and effort nurturing and educating them.
They also go spread secrets in the Diviner's ears, succumbing to addiction and spending sprees and ending up as stolen indentured servent in the Diviner Fief.
