Day 10

After getting the elf we found to the medics, we noticed that Jyrone was feeling really woozy too, so we made him stay in the medic bay for a while too. The mages then gave us some rooms to stay in, and told us not to leave the area for a while, which I agreed to. However, we noticed that Mammon had disappeared, and I mentioned this to the mages. Then Grin and I took an afternoon nap.
We woke up around dinnertime and went to the bar downstairs to have some drinks. Mammon joined us and brought to us some items he had found. One item in particular was a gold cube. I instantly remembered that it was an artifact with experimental spells, which could be used for great harm if in the wrong hands. I immediately warned my companions of this. After some attunement to my newfound Archivist spectacles, I settled down and read a bit from the book of love I found. I made sure to do so discretely, so nobody would see what I was reading. I learned that flowers were a good way to win a woman's heart. If I was truly in love with Noelle, I would have to do this to start winning her heart.
In the middle of this, Grin fell asleep, and Mammon and I carried him off to his room. I then felt an overwhelming urge to sleep also, and I dozed off on the floor.
 
I woke up to feel ringing in my ears. It didn't hurt much, since I was undead, but I was well aware it was there. Grin and Mammon also were feeling it, but we thought nothing of it. We then went into town to do some errands. I decided that when I had the chance, I would find a beautiful flower to gift Noelle. I didn't feel comfortable just yet giving it to her in person, so I decided to drop it off at her house. We went to "The Elder", who was sitting in his shop. Somehow, the other two got upset at the old man and started yelling at him. I just quietly laughted. However, the elder knew what I was wanting to know, and kindly told me where Noelle lived. After apologizing for my friends' rash behavior, I let them make their way to our new cart which they had bought when I was away. While they did this, I sneaked away, and got a beautiful flower that looked like a white rose. I wasn't sure what it was, but I thought it would compliment her priestess outfit very well. So I went to her house while she was at the market, and left the flower on the front porch. As I walked away, I had the feeling that she had just seen the flower on her porch.
 
I came back to the group, and after another night's rest, we were told by the head mage that we could leave. Grin seemed very eager to leave, even suggesting that we had been interrogated and our memories were wiped. I had trouble believing this, but I trusted Grin, and followed. We got Jryone out of the hospital, despite his poor physical condition, and sent him to the carriage.
Mammon then told us that while he was gone, he met a strange group of people that had captured the necromancers. He began leading us towards them, but as he did, a strange coin fell out of the trees, and for a brief moment, I saw a cape flash in the trees, but then was gone...
