Day 6

I woke up this morning, same as always. However, I decided that it was time...
I needed to tell this group of people about the prophecy I have seen. But it's so dark that it would drive many to insanity if they knew the full extent of the calamity that would occur. So instead, I quickly came up with a light-hearted version of the story and sang it in front of everyone. Hopefully the actual singing instead of just reciting it will help them remember. But they have so much more to learn... So much more I cannot disclose yet...
The shadow crystal's vision is too disturbing...
 
On a lighter note, I went to breakfast as usual, and sat with my usual group. They wanted to escape prison today, and Jyrone asked me again to get food to poison Bob.
I firmly said no, again and he relented. Instead, he went to talk to Jimbo and then Joey.
I just wandered around, with Grin following me. I guess neither of us wanted to listen to Jyrone talk to the denizens of the prison, haha.
But I finally came back, and they finished talking. By then, work was about to start, so I got ready to go to work. However, Grin stopped me for a second, and swore his friendship to me. I happily accepted. Both of us walked away, and I just thought how both of us just made our first friend in a very long time.
It made me smile, seeing Grin finally start to open up. Sadly, I was the first person he opened up to, easily the worst, but better than nobody, I suppose...
At work today, I was doing my best as usual, and happened to notice the head baker staring at me. I turned around and asked if she needed anything. She called me to the back, and then asked me if I wanted to be the head baker after her.
I would have been willing to help, but I knew that we only had 3 days left here. But something in the back of my mind told me that I wasn't getting out, despite what the guards told us.
So, I decided to wait for 3 days to get back with her, and she understood. Then the bell rang for our break...
 
I was talking to some of the prisoners during break time when a bunch of guards came up randomly and took me away, asking for me by name.
I knew I was doing nothing wrong, so I took a close look at the guards. To my surprise, it was Mammon and Jyrone with Jimbo. I immediately knew we were going to break out, and I played along, pretending to be a prisoner going to the basement.
We arrived at the basement, and when we entered, we saw two guards that were unconscious on the ground. We immediately knew someone else had gotten down there first. And who else, but Grin?
We went deeper, and saw someone in guard armor waterboarding another guard...
Except that guard was already dead. From that, I deduced that it was Red who was there. He started to charge at us, but thankfully I called out in time, and he realized it was us, and lowered his weapon.
We then took our leave with Maze and Reina, who were both imprisoned in the dungeon below, and took a secret exit. However, the guards knew we were breaking out and were ready with archers.
Thankfully Mammon made an Arcane barrier and we all got away safely. Jimbo ran off into the distance, never to be seen again. Looking back, we all realized that this was the prison of SIDEM (Serious Incidents with Dark/Evil Magic)
Once we reached a safe place, I healed Maze really quickly since he was injured.
And then I decided it was time to reveal what I really was to my new party.
So I took my hat off to show them what kind of monster I was. To my surprise, everyone seemed shocked more than anything; not disgusted or afraid as I thought they would. Jyrone said I was ugly, but still everyone, even Jyrone, thought that I was cute.
Which is really strange, but ok.
Then we all walked along, wondering what to do next...
