I read the note aloud to everyone, and Grin immediately became strangely aggressive and grabbed the owl that had brought the message. Thankfully I was able to rescue the owl and bring it downstairs to ask it where it had come from, and who sent it. The owl wouldn't tell me who sent them, but they did give me the name of a town, but I cannot remember it.
I let the owl go and relayed the information to Grin. This seemed to satisfy him, thankfully. After eating dinner, we sat down, and began to talk. I explained to Noelle how I used to be her favorite goat, Israel. But I was taken by some raiders and then sold to the arena, where Grin later killed me. She took it surprisingly well. I doubt that she realized how that might change things between us in the future...
Anyways, a bit later in the night, the team and I found a coffin floating in the water. We decided to fish it out of the sea and land it on the boat. Both Grin and Jyrone failed to haul the giant coffin, but then I stepped up and reeled it in with my scarf, and we got it safely aboard. We opened it to find a fifteen year=old boy named Jonathan, who seemed very malnourished. He told us that he had been put in the coffin for killing his parents and had been out at sea for two months. Something seemed very off with the boy, but I decided to still try and be kind. I offered him a hug, and he accepted, but when he hugged me, he did it in the most disturbing way to where I knew he couldn't be trusted. I went over to Noelle and warned her really quick about the lad. Eventually, we decided that Jonathan would sleep in the brig for the night, and Alfred would watch over him.
I wish I could say that we had a peaceful rest of the night, but the exact opposite was true. To our surprise, Grin transformed into a werewolf and began savagely attacking everyone. Noelle was kind enough to cast a shielding spell on me. The past events had tired me out immensely though, and I was unable to cast any spells, and could barely even properly assist in combat. Grin even caused a thick fog to go over the ship for a while, and the others foolishly kept attacking, and many people hit each other, including Noelle.
Furthermore, Jyrone somehow convinced Jonathan to help us attack Grin, and that was when the boy's identity was clear: Jonathan was a vampire. After a long struggle, we finally restrained Grin and put him in the brig until dawn. He changed back into a human, and I tried to attune to some items. I attuned to my rapier and Pegasus cloak, but still have not attuned to the eel scarf. And finally, exhausted, I fell asleep to take a nice, long rest.
However, as I slept, I could hear the others' voices, and I kept seeing the mural of the two people pointing fingers at each other angrily. Hopefully we could fulfil the prophecy, and stop Mammon, and all other enemies in our paths, with as little killing as possible. Then maybe after this all ends, I can enjoy a calm life with Noelle at the town of the Fire Mages...
