Day 5

Day 5- We assessed our surroundings a bit, and then began a quiet conversation. Some of the crew tried to hatch an escape plan. I thought it was unwise, since we didn't have a lot of time, and we could learn more information about the place
However, in the middle of this, Jyrone woke up.
But he was very different. Instead of his happy-go-lucky self, he was a cynical crazy man. I thought he might be possessed for a moment, but I saw that this is normal for him. Thankfully I was able to pacify him for a short while once I realized he was hostile. He still was cynical, but at least listened to Maze... and only him, strangely. In the morning, the guards woke us up, and Moose was back to his old self.
Grin yelled something to the guards that he wasn't supposed to be in jail, and that he was a free man. The warden came in, and heard this. When Grin mentioned "papers", they immediately changed their expression and commanded the guards to drag Grin out of the room. Then he sent the rest of us with guards to the breakfast hall. In the middle of breakfast, Grin came back, but he was sopping wet, and was emotionally broken. I think he was water boarded, but I dared not ask...
I tried to comfort him, and give him my plate of food, but he was too spooked to do anything.
Soon we were all moved to start our jobs. Mammon and Jyrone did building, I chose cooking, and Grin was sent back to his cell, since he was unable to work. Not sure where Reina went, and Maze was missing too.
I helped cook until the break time. During break, we all met up together. Mammon and I noticed Maze get dragged off, but we couldn't find out anything, besides the fact he was injured and was bleeding. I will have to attend to his wounds when I can get to him...
But when Mammon and I got back, Jyrone had started gambling with some of the inmates.
Somehow, Jyrone and Mammon ended up playing a game of chess, which was entertaining, but drew quite a lot of attention, which was a bit awkward.

After break though, we went back to our cells to sleep.
We talked, and realized that some magic spells were disabled in this jail somehow. None of mine have been affected yet, as far as I know...
But all of the others have some abilities hampered.
I went to sleep early that night, But I was woken up by Jyrone and Grin fighting. Apparently Jyrone went back to his hostile version of himself and tried to attack Grin.
Thankfully the guards quickly broke up the fight, and I was able to sleep normally again.
