Day 16

As my mind began to focus in again, I started hearing the beginning of a conversation. From what I gathered, Grin was being interrogated by a woman with a bunch of thugs near her, and Jyrone was nearby. I chewed a hole through the leather sack and stuck my head out a bit to watch. Next to me, I could see two other bags, with what seemed to be Noelle and Mammon inside them, unconscious. I took a look around, and I realized I was correct with my guesses. And apparently, the lady was the head of a group of pirates, and she wanted revenge for the group killing the former head of the pirates, which was her dad. A bit of back-and-forth banter happened, and while this went on, I looked around and noticed a ghoul that was acting very hostile. I attempted to speak animal to it, almost sure that it would be a lost cause, but to my shock, the ghoul understood what I was saying, and after a short talk, and charming the monster, it relented, and became passive. Shortly after this though, I got picked up by the biggest guy in the group and put on a table and restrained. I gathered that I was being used as a way to convince Grin to tell them what they knew. However, it seemed that Grin was under a truth serum, so of course, they could not get any more information from Grin. Grin threw some insults at the pirate captain, and she commanded her men to pick everyone up.
 
We were taken to a giant vault, and thrown inside and locked in. After everyone woke up, we were ambushed by a treasure golem. However, our team was easily able to take the golem down without anyone getting hurt. Jyrone and I attempted to capture the spirit of the golem, but I unfortunately messed up, and let the spirit escape. By that time Mammon and Grin were well into looting the area. However, Jyrone and I found some items that have not been taken yet. And apparently, during the looting, Mammon had hoarded a lot of items, and Grin was trying to convince him to share the loot with what people needed. Eventually, Grin found a giant dragon scale robe, and convinced Mammon to not hoard things, and even got him to give everyone most of the items he hoarded. Then, Jyrone and I noticed a platform near the ceiling and we got Mammon to throw us up there. We found some more loot and were just about to head back down when the group of pirates came back. They opened the vault door, and stared at us in shock, expecting us to be dead...
