Night 1
We were about to settle down for the night, when Red reacted to something that only he could hear. He started talking to someone, seemingly, and quickly ran off before I could ask him what was going on. I chased him in hot pursuit until he stopped at a burning building.
Despite the danger I sensed, I followed him as he ran inside...
Inside, we saw a masked figure staring back at us. I readied my magic and scarf, wary of the figure's next move...
We looked into the fire and saw a strange mask. Red/Grin fired at it, but the mask disappeared with the tell-tale smoke of shadow step...
Then a friend of Red called "Knox" came up and assessed the situation. Suddenly, we were attacked by two people, a young man, and an older man.
Red immediately attacked them, and I could only stand helpless and watch the fight happen (edited)
As I guessed... Red easily defeated both. He killed one, and the other was quite injured, despite my attempt to stop Red.
Some guards came, and took the survivor away, thankfully leaving us be. We both went back to the Opal's Inn to sleep for the little bit of night we had left...
