Day 2
I woke up today to see Red waiting for me across the way. He told me that he had someone to meet, named Maze, and that he'd be leaving in a bit. He tried to thank me and say farewell, but I offered to join him on the adventure. He accepted my offer, and we went there together, arriving in the early evening. Red told me to not be seen by this man, so I heeded his request and hid. Red knocked on the door, and a jolly, extravagant man answered. After a brief exchange, Red and the other man went inside and closed the door. I waited until Red came outside, but by that time, it was dark out, and there wasn't any inns close by. So I went to a small overhang a good way from the road, made a fire, and invited Red to stay the night at my makeshift camp. We had a casual, but tense chat before we both nodded off...
