I woke up the next morning to find that everyone had left me when I was asleep. I immediately thought that they had either realized that I had lied about the prophecy and that it was much more hopeless than I insinuated it to be, or that they didn't like me, and instead of telling me, they left. So I took a good 15 minutes and cried. Afterwards though, I decided to look for some clues. Grin had left a note, and said not to follow him, and I assumed it was the same place Bloodbark had told me about. I looked for clues for where Jyrone went and found a small spot of blood on his bedsheets. I wasn't sure what to think of that, so I ended up dismissing it.
I went to the tavern innkeeper, and I got some of the money that the others had used to spend the night at the inn. And with what I couldn't get back, I gave it to someone in need of it. But before I left, the innkeeper gave me a note that someone had addressed to me, which read "Thanks for the flowers!" I knew that only one person would have said that to me... Noelle. How she found me, I have no clue, and why she took the time to, I am baffled, but it is a nice thought that makes my mind rush with ideas and thoughts. With that, I set off back towards the fire mages to attempt to get to know Noelle better, and hopefully serenade her if I had the guts to do so...
The ride was quite interesting, since I have never taken riding classes before. Thankfully the horse was very patient with me, and was willing to take me without a problem. The carriage suffered some damage, but with my newfound carpentry skills, I was able to keep the damage minimal, though I would have to repair it later.
I reached my old home, and out of curiosity, I asked some of the mages what had happened to the frostbitten elf that we encountered earlier. They said that he was fine, though still unsure of what was going on. Now that I think of it, I doubt those claims, but at the time, I completely trusted them, and went on my way.
I paid Noelle a visit at her house, but she seemed to be away, and nobody had seen her the entire day. So I left her a note, along with the candy cane I had saved her, and decided to take a look at the dungeon that the spiders had made a home in. There, I found a few new books, some interdimensional chalk, a water sword, a rapier, and a small ball that turned into a robotic owl, which I named "Rune".
After this, I went to Maze to get my 500 gold, and paid for riding classes. Thankfully I seemed to get the hang of it quite easily and I am now fully capable of riding or piloting horse carriages, as long as the horse complies. After this, I decided to head to Grayhaven to see if I could find where Grin and Bloodbark had gone. After all, now that I had the "redwater blade", I wanted to gift it to Grin in exchange for the spectacles he had given me before.
