There are guards patrolling the walls and towers at all times.   The town is ruled by council, usually comprised of elderly halflings. They make sure taxes are paid and collected with a cut going to Raux, apart from this they are responsible for the town's security and punishing any wrong doing.   The largest exports are lumber (both raw and worked), parchment, string and rope.
