Odek

Built not long after Raux, Odek serves as a base of operations for humans on the eastern side of the continent. Very well defended with tall, solid walls of stone all round and gates on the north, south and western sides. A small but active town serving as a great pit stop for the adventurer as well as a strategic stronghold.
There is a large military presence throughout the town as well as what could be considered an over the top amount of defences. Odek's walls are littered with cannons and bolt throwers as standard and in addition, five towers encircle the town each with several ballistas mounted inside. Trebuchets are found scattered between the towers with generous piles of stone beside them.
Home to the world famous military academy, renown for offering some of the best combat training around. People come from all over to study or train here including all members of the Black Guard who must pass at least a basic training course before they can start thier employment. Some of the best fighters teach classes here and as a result the local Black Guard regiment features some of the most fierce warriors the human race has to offer.
