Vermell Forest

The largest forest on the continent, spanning over fifty miles from east to west and averaging fifteen miles north to south. The land is under no control or law as it is impossible to uphold such a large operation, some settlements exist within this expanse with their own guard, rules and law.   Home to a rather large variety of creatures both civilised and wild, it can prove a tricky place to navigate without sticking to one of the few main roads leading through the trees. All sorts of structures both man-made and natural sit in between tress or in clearings ranging from expensive manor houses, wood cabins, tree houses, traders tents/huts, outposts, caves, tunnels and even small rivers.   Numerous lumber camps can be found all around the edges of the forest and this is the main location for all sorts of woodworking in Ethea, the large selection of natural wildlife also makes these woods a hub for hunting and meat distribution.   The main roads and a few additional places have been mapped out by explorers, yet much still needs to be found, observed and documented. Map makers often accompany groups through these parts to expand the general knowledge of it's contents.
