Boulder City

Boulder City is a city founded in 1931 as a place for workers to live while working on Hoover Dam. Located along the banks of Lake Mead, and located directly Southeast of New Vegas, Boulder City has a large amount of history, especially recently.    It was used most notably in 2277 by the New California Republic as the site of a trap for the advancing troops of Caesar's Legion, detonating almost the whole city, and killing all troops within. It remained a shadow of its former self until 2282, and the first days of the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave. Boulder City quickly began being renovated, as the FEZ began a complete overhaul and restoration of Hoover Dam, the workers doing so would need somewhere to live. Just like Pre-War days, most of the cities households have at least one resident who works on the Dam. It is now one of the largest settlements outside of New Vegas and Primm, with a population just over 100,000, and numerous residential skyscrapers and commercial areas.

Infrastructure

Boulder City's infrastructure resembles that of the Pre-War, with large skyscrapers, paved streets, a courthouse, schools, and all the amenities one would find in such a large city.
