Indiana

Indiana is a crossroads trade city, on the northern edge of the Mojave Wasteland. Indiana is a relatively new city, but the discovery of silver and gemstones in the nearby mountains caused the rise of a boomtown. Indiana further prospered when the town of Gold was founded, and gold shipments started heading south through the city. Indiana now not only thrives on its mining industry, but also as a crossroads town between Jacobstown, New Vegas, and Gold.
Indiana is also a last stop for people leaving the Mojave, as everything past it is frontier between the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave and the eastern border of the New California Republic. Though the two both lay claim to the area, the many visitors from Wyoming, Utah and otherwise all have Indiana as their first stop in the Mojave.

Demographics

Indiana's proximity to the Super Mutant hub of Jacobstown means it naturally has a small minority of them, these townsfolk are prized for their strength inside the many mines surrounding the town.

Industry & Trade

Indiana has a booming trade sector, moving tens of thousands of caps worth of goods every day. It also has silver, gemstone, and iron mines in its outskirts.
