Mojave Wasteland
The Mojave wasteland is a desert wasteland that lies between California and Arizona, it makes up most of southern Nevada, with New Vegas at its center. The Mojave is dominated by sand, mountains, and canyons. It is rich with ores and precious metals, which the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave has been using to fuel its booming economy.
It rarely rains in the Mojave, but a monsoon season that consumed most of 2286 and 87 helped much of the local wildlife flourish. This is a common weather pattern, with a many months of monsoons consuming a year roughly every ten years.
