Benjiro Akimara

Benjiro Akimara is the only son of Shinjiro, a retired shinobi of the snow. He follows in his father's beliefs regarding war and weaponry, etc. However, he still likes to be a show off every once in a while, finding those who cannot hone their weapons as much as their own body to be a poor excuse of a shinobi. Most days, Benjiro is out training with his team and spends his nights cherishing the time he has to spend with his parents and studying.

  Crusher: Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack that deals bludgeoning damage, you can move it 5 feet to an unoccupied space, provided the target is no more than one size larger than you. When you score a critical hit that deals bludgeoning damage to a creature, attack rolls against that creature are made with advantage until the start of your next turn.
  Great weapon master: If you make a melee attack against a target, you may make the attack at disadvantage, if the user successfully hits their opponent deal an extra +10 to your total damage.
  Heavy armor expert: While you are wearing heavy armor, bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage that you take from non chakra infused weapons is reduced by 5 and you can halve the movement penalty from heavy armor.
  Twice per day you can compel an enemy to duel you, those in compelled duels focus only on attacking you and vice versa. In a compelled duel each competitor makes only melee attacks or other melee based abilities/techniques. While in a compelled duel you gain resistance to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage from normal weapons, but not those infused with chakra. If someone from outside interferes in your compelled duel, the duel and all benefits from it disappear.

History

Before Asami and Benjiro knew each other, they were in different classes at the academy, thus never really seeing the other. As they grew into genin, a team was formed to which both students were assigned. Asami had projected herself as a strong and mature shinobi from the beginning. While this annoyed most of the other team members, Benjiro was moved by her passion to become a great and capable leader. He had felt a similar passion for his own goals. Because of this, the two do their best to support one another's dreams, even if in minor ways.
