Heir Aera Furyborn

Aera Furyborn, the youngest child of Elder Tiristar Furyborn and younger sibling to Arystyr Furyborn is the governor of the frontier port village of Krakenpost. A rebellious child and a has often gotten into disagreements with her father.
Aera is a trained mage and studied evocation at The Miskatonic against her family's wishes, instructing her older sibiling Arystyr to diguise himself as them to keep the rouse up for as long as possible. Her level of spellcasting is comparable to Azura.
The mage survived an attempted assassiantion on her and her brother Arystyr Furyborn at their home in Krakenpost on the 13th Duskfall, 1052 thanks to the help of Doomed 2 Die.
Following the death of her father and assencion of their brother to the rank of Elder, Aera is now the Heir of Furunheim until Arystyr chooses to have an heir of their own.

Personal history

Aera furyborn was the youngest child of Elder Tiristar Furyborn and grew up in releative safety and security at her family's home in Ferenvire. It is remarked upon that she has often had a rebellious streak and would get into frequent disagreements with Elder Tiristar. She did maintain a closer relationship with her older sibling, Arystyr, the two frequently bickering but consistently supporting and loving each other.
In 850, 3e, Aera left her home in Furunheim and snuck aboard a trade vessel to Lastlight with a considerable lump sum of gold from the treasury. She then booked passage on a merchant cog to the then Kingdom of Kernow, and enrolled at the Miskatonic to study Evocation. During the initial time of her running away, Arystyr was instructed to disguise himself as her - but this rouse fell apart and supposidly her father was 'furious.'
Upon completion of her studies in 855, Aera returned home. In 929, she was granted Governorship of the village of Krakenpost, given the ceremonial title of Sheranie, or 'chief' in common.

Heir of Furunheim Arc

Aera was comfortable at her home in Krakenpost when Doomed 2 Die and her brother Arystyr arrived after the failed assassination attempt in Odinsthrone. Aera welcomed them in, and despite being patronising to the non-magic users they seemed enamoured by Azura. and walked around the gardens when the assassin Never ambushed them in their gardens with a collection of wood woads, twig blights, and needle blights.
The wizard barely survived the encounter, and was healed by Fr. Tomos Siegfried and Einar. They granted the party permission to imprison Never in the town and was then escorted to Ferenvire by Ivar, Fr Tomos, and Falia Rayes. In Ferenvire, Aera saw the smoke from the eastern coast. They would later recieve a sending from Azura and were informed of the gnoll attack and sent some knights and Ivar to the homesteads at Faranalay to help clear up the carnage.
In Ferenvire, Aera and her father would make peace at their final dinner due to Shan's guiding words. At the funeral, Aera was part of the honour guard and was present when feywild portals opened after her father's death. She would initially flee alongside most the party and her brother before the Four Wizards attacked them. She stayed behind with Azura and Fr Tomos to hold them back, being downed several times.
After recovering from the attacks, Aera offered the help Arystyr find allies to defeat the treacherous Olisander Dirthstone, secretly The Dark Enchanter. Using a teleportation circle Aera took Azura and Einar to Odinsthrone and then on to Kriegerholm.
Aera remained with a token force in Ferenvire whilst Doomed 2 Die and her brother marched on Marthiel. In the aftermath of the battle, the wizard attending the celebration feast and continued her flirtationship with Azura, mocking the wizard for becoming part-cleric in their ressurection at the hands of Manannan Mac Lir. She would also teleport the party to Krakenpost the following day, allowing them to use her manorhouse to discuss their next steps.

The Deep Arc

Aera was present in the aftermath of Ivar, Falia, and Roach destroying the Order of Labelas and was happy to see the party return from being cast through time. She teased Azura but remained at the Walking Wind Inn with the partys' companions whilst they investigated debris from the Astral Sea they discovered earlier.
The Wizard was tasked with watching over Captain James Tovos, who was in his diamond form reconstructing himself, after the party found his destroyed spelljammer at the edge of the solar system. The wizard also allowed the Arcane Tower to be 'parked' in her gardens.
Aera was then seen again when the party visited Effelin, as she was in town escorting the new head of the Order of Labelas to Krakenpost. They exchanged brief plesantries and information before parting once more.
She was called upon again days later when Val sent a sending to Ivar, warning him they were being captured by The Wraiths. The Vikingr was able to call upon Aera, and a now mostly restored James Tovos, so they could hijack a spelljammer alongside Zedithir and save the party. Aera was present when the party made a deal with the constructs to exchange information, and was plunged into the unimatrix.
Upon the party finishing their business in the astral sea, Aera was returned with the rest of them to Crowsport. Here she said her goodbyes, agian, and left for Krakenpost once more.

Sexuality

Aera is attracted to many genders, races, and backgrounds but tends to find Wizards the most attractive. She has shown a fancy towards Azura but also expressed 'enjoymennt' at the prescense of Thane Gier Warpelt.

Education

Aera's advanced evocation course at the Miskatonic has given her a broad and complex understanding of magic, especially in her chosen school. She has also recieved the standard noble's education in Ferenvire, being taught elven history, politics, and ice magics. Her martial training is unobserved, but likely had the standard training in martial weapons as is expected of someone of her rank and status.
