Elder Arystyr Furyborn (a.k.a. Ary)

Naive, optimistic, artistic, and loving of all things related to life and adventure - Arystyr is a nobleborn Ice Elf of the great House Furyborn. The third born child of Elder Tiristar Furyborn, Ary is the current Elder of Furunheim
A passionate elf with a sense of wanderlust, Arystyr worries about their future to come and longs to see and experience more of the world. A sorcerer by birth, he often struggles with things which take time to learn if they do not come easy at first. Their trusting nature and poor sense of 'street smarts' has put a target on their heads as an attempted assassination was foiled in Odinsthrone by Doomed 2 Die.
Since his father's death on the 14th Duskfall, Ary has officially been the Elder of Furunheim and head of House Furyborn. At their father's funeral,The Dark Enchanter that had been pursuing him and his sister was revelead to be Olisander Dirthstone, his father's most trusted advisor. Alongside Doomed 2 Die and their allies, Ary seeks to oust Dirthstone and restore freedom to the island.

Personal history

Born as the third child to Elder Tiristar Furyborn - Aryi has led a sheltered life since. Being put off of the adventures they desired they are yet to see much of the world or experience its joys and dangers. They did not fight in the 40 Year War but were left at home with their younger sibling to run Furunheim in their war hero father's absence.
In Duskfall, 1052, whilst attending a feast in Odinsthrone organized by his father's war friend King Hardrada alongside his father, animated plants attempted to assassinate the young heir but were foiled by the presence of Einar and intervention of Doomed 2 Die.

Heir of Furunheim Arc

Enamoured by the heir and intrigued about who attempted to assassinate him - Doomed 2 Die swore to aid Elder Tiristar in hunting down the killers. Azura also promised Ary a chance at adventure and to learn the world. In their fist 'adventure' to find his assassins, they were led into The Wold, the great forest between Kriegerholm and Odinsthrone. They battled against the Conclave of the Wold, Dryads being controlled by the 'Taint' spread by The Dark Enchanter, the orchestrator of the plot to assassinate him.
Staying with Doomed 2 Die as his escort to Krakenpost, Ary helped the party explore follow up leads on the assassins in Kriegerholm. The young heir helped decieve the goblin criminals guarding the underground arena known as The Fishnet. Inside, he supported the group in 'convincing' the goblins to hand the arena back over to the Kriegerholm Syndicate. As a reward, Arystyr was with the party in the ruins of Old Magnusberg as they were taken to meet the Kriegerholm Red Daggers. The daggers informed them it was a changeling who awas targetting them. Arystyr also met the candidates for the new Thane of Kriegerholm at the moot, and agreed with the party supporting Thane Gier Warpelt.
Sailing to Krakenpost Ary introduced the party to his sister, Aera Furyborn. At Aera's house he, his sister, Val, Gallus, Einar, Falia Rayes, Azura, Fr. Tomos Siegfried and Roach were ambushed by the changeling assassin Never alongside controlled sentient plants from the feywild. He only survived through being polymorphed into a Giant Ape.
In the aftermath he led the party towards his home in Ferenvire to attend the funeral of his father the following day. Along the way, they came across a group of ambushed Skallen members who were defeated by Zedithir, a hero of the island. The party also saw smoke coming from homsteads to the west and found a remnant gnoll warband from Sudalfenland had sacked the place. Arystyr helped dispatch the gnolls and save his captured people, housing them in his keep.
In Ferenvire the prince would spend the evening with Azura at the Night Circus, a fabled local attraction and carnival. He attended his father's final meal and the next morning was in the funerary honour guard. After his father's final speech and cremation, Arystyr did not get a chance to thank the assembled crowd as portals to the feywild opened and mosnters sprawlled out.
On Olisander Dirthstone's reccomendation, Ary was retreated back to his keep. As more of Doomed 2 Die and their companions stayed back to fight off the attackers, he was left with only Val and Olisander when the Chief of Dirthstone revealed his betrayal and attacked them. Although nearly dying at Olisander's hands, Ary was bought more time by Shan and Roach arriving them saved when the rest of the party returned with Zedithir, forcing Olisander to retreat.
Recovering and planning an assault for the following day, Ary would attend to the wounded and ready his militia and knights to attack Marthiel, Olisander's home. Following Val's guidance, Arystyr called in Haarold Iceaxe under the alliance between his father and the great generals brother, the king of Aedrinar. Doomed 2 Die also managed to contact Erika and recruited a nearby group of Ysgard's Warriors led by Bjorthir Ironside to help in the battle as well as Ivar's Reindeer Clan berserkers.
Leading the troops, Arystyr was urged by the Golden Boar to lead the charge into the city as to be percieved as a liberator, not a conquerer. Arystyr's action in the siege also made sure to be specific in their targets, avoiding civilian structures as much as possible and being as non-fatal to the enchanted Dirthstone knights as they could.
The Elder hosted a feast to remember the dead and celebrate his cornation as Elder the evening after the battle, and launched a Coronation Regatta the following day. When Igraine Aramour learnt they were effecitvely exiled from their home in Icespire, Ary welcomed them into his home. The elder also offered a tearful farewell to his first and newest friends, promising to aid them in the battle against Teng Silverjaw and The Dragon Clan.
