Dódag's and Dédag's
"If you plan on staying in Temple District and do not wish to brush shoulders with the elite at The Sweet Breath Inn - although why anyone would not wish that I do not know - then these two inns are a good choice. Owned by two twins of the same name as their respective inns, one would do well to remember which inn they are staying at so as to not be charged twice!" ~The City of Cities
Purpose / Function
This building is for the renting of rooms, and its clientele tends to be more well-to-do travellers and pilgrims. Unlike other inns, neither food nor drink is sold here.
Alterations
When the current owners took over, they created a dividing wall between the two sides of the inn and sealed all of the doors between the two halves of the building - except for one that connects the two offices of the two brothers.
Architecture
These two stone buildings with white-painted wooden supports appear to be one from the outside, with only a small stone wall showing the division of the structure both from itself and the street outside. There are no signs or markings indicating which building is which from the outside, with the interior of the buildings being one's only clue that they had gone in the wrong half. Each room is sparsely furnished with either two beds or four depending on the room and a small table and some chairs.
History
The building was originally once one complete inn known as the Dancing Swan. Known for many miles as the best inn in the city, it eventually found its way into the Sadin family. When the two twins took over from their aged father, they decided to split the inn between them.
