Old Kal's Inn
"The Inn of the Western Sun is not a place where anyone of status would dare rest their head except in dire straits. The building has a large lean to it, and a common joke in the area is that anything that is expected to not last long will last as long as this building. It apparently has fairly good drink and food if one is used to commoners' fare, but the rooms are damp and cold in the winter and hot and mildewed in the summer." ~The City of Cities
Prices
Purpose / Function
This inn provides a small selection of alcohols, but it is predominantly a place to rent some rooms.
Alterations
This place shows signs of recent repair and some rooms and areas are not well cleaned or slightly damp.
Architecture
The building has a slight lean due to the uneven ground of the area. The main central room has a small bar and a few tables, but the truly important places around here are the rooms. People looking for somewhere cheap to rest their heads can get a bed in a common room for a few silver. Each common room has a small fireplace for warmth and eight to ten beds in total. The more expensive rooms have a pair of small beds and a view on the dirty street below.
History
The inn has passed through a few different owners over the last twenty years and each one has left their mark on the structure. Most of these "marks" have made the structure more unstable and less safe. Kalir has spent a while putting it back together, but it's been a tough battle.
