Saving Ameiko

We went to the town glassworks to see if we can find Ameiko. Fray used his sorcery to fly, which he extended to Kat. They joined Billy in flying above to look in from the skylights. They saw goblins inside pouring melted glass on mutilated corpses of townsfolk and the body of Ameiko's dad.

Kat opened the door, exclaimed "Ther has been a MURDER!" for the benefit of nearby townsfolk that were curiously watching our antics. I summoned Minion as our group prepared to go inside. As I saw glass on the ground, I put on some sturdy work boots.

Two goblins tried to hit Minion with hot pokers that dripped with molten glass. He smashed one into the floor, and I shot the other with a fire bolt. Minion smashed a goblin using a spear on Inuyasha, getting its body stuck to his maul. He shook it off towards Inuyasha, getting some goblin bits on him. I saw two goblins were hiding under a table and I fried them with a lightning bolt.

We went to the basement and found Tsuto was leading the goblins. I never did like him, that bastard is only good dead. I killed a goblin with a fire bolt. Johana breathed fire and burned four goblins to a crisp. Inuyasha and Kat worked together to fight Tsuto. Minion pulverized another goblin with his maul.

Tsuto surrendered. I shot him in the balls with a fire bolt. Fray read aloud from Tsuto's journal. Something cracked as he was not this odd when I knew him form before. It must be Nualia's influence. We found, and liberated, Ameiko, who was bound in a room. We executed Tsuto by putting him on a chair and dropped molten glass on him as he had done to his own father. It was a fitting end for what he had done and become.

Ameiko told us that we have free room and board for life at the Rusty Dragon. After resting, we went to the smuggler tunnels that Tsuto had been using, which had been dug beneath Sandpoint. We found a cavern full of sin spawn, demonic aberrations that are shock troopers of the Runelords. One of them belched a dark gas that momentarily engulfed us, and Billy dropped to the ground.

I hit three of them with a lightning bolt, and Minion engaged the big one, his maul glowing with Inuyasha's demonic fire, wounding it. Johana healed Billy, who got up and killed two monsters with his ranseur. Inuyasha killed two with his sword. Kat pounced the big one and finished it off.

After wandering around we found a statue of a Runelord woman. Johana took her ranseur. Later we found sin spawn skulking the ruins. They did not last long and were ineffective against us. We encountered a three-armed mutant goblin. Minion finished it off.
