Kill Them All! With Fire!

I spent some time while in Magnimar improving my alchemy skills as I made several alchemical crossbow bolts for Vicky as I used the tome I had taken from the psychotic halfling mercenary.
 
While I was going around town I found a nice chair that I wanted. The merchant did not want to do business with me. I had Minion talk to him as a distraction while I teleported away with the chair. He should have done business with me. I still got the chair I wanted.
 
The mayor gave us each 750 gold to go find his missing rangers. As we were getting accoodations to take a barge down the river, Shalelu joined us. It was good to see an old friend, and even better that she wanted to help us help the missing rangers. Apparently she knows one of them. He was kind of a father figure to her.
 
Around the middle of our travel on the barge, our dinner was interrupted by a group of assassins attacking us. An evil paladin was close to me, so I summoned Minion to take care of him. Inuyasha and Svarfknuckle killed the evil paladin as the two of us worked together to destroy a couple of assassins.
 
After the week was over we arrived in the rainy Fall weather at Turtleback Ferry. After we talked to some townsfolk and the mayor we headed out for the nearby fort.
 
We encountered some mean ogre-kin. Two had tried to hunt a well-trained great cat that we later found out belonged to one of the rangers. It showed us the way to where the rangers were held, in large barn full of ogre kin and giant spiders. Vicky made very good use of some of the fire bolts I had made for her.
 
We rescued the rangers. One of them was a traitor that worked for the snake-lady lamia's sister, Lucretia. She was pretending to be some red-haired strumpet that was corrupting people. The traitor was executed by the ranger that has ties with Shalelu.
 
So we now have two places to go: the house near the barn, so we can kill the rest of the ogre-kin, and to kill Lucretia and whoever else is in her evil plot that is tied to the ancient Runelords.
