Bethel Tuhamri (BEH-thel too-HAM-ree)

Korak's Home

Bethel Tuhamri is a marvel of nature and craftsmanship, seamlessly blending into the towering trees that surround it. The treehouse is a labyrinth of wooden pathways, rope bridges, and spiraling staircases that wind around the massive trunks, leading to various chambers nestled within the treetops. Each room, though connected by the intricate network of wooden walkways, offers its own unique vantage point, providing sweeping views of the surrounding forest and the distant mountains of Tir na nOg. The architecture reflects Korak's deep connection to nature, with every plank of wood and rope carefully selected to ensure the structure remains in harmony with the environment.   Inside Bethel Tuhamri, the spaces are warm and inviting, filled with natural light filtering through the leaves above. The walls are lined with intricately carved wooden panels depicting scenes of the jungle and the legends of old Carthage, a tribute to Korak's heritage. Soft rugs made from woven grasses cover the floors, while large, comfortable chairs and hammocks provide spaces for rest and contemplation. The main living area features a grand hearth, its flames flickering with an almost magical glow, surrounded by shelves filled with ancient scrolls and relics from both the jungle and Carthaginian history.   The heart of Bethel Tuhamri is a central chamber, located high in the largest tree, where Korak often retreats to meditate and reflect on his life’s journey. This space is open to the elements, with branches forming a natural canopy overhead. Here, Korak feels most connected to the world around him, able to hear the whispers of the wind through the leaves and the distant calls of the wild creatures below. A library sits of of this chamber that Korak plans his expeditions and collaborate with the Eolais-Ríomhairí.   The exterior of Bethel Tuhamri is equally breathtaking, with large balconies that jut out from the main structure, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Vines and flowering plants intertwine with the wooden beams, adding splashes of color and life to the already vibrant setting.
