Boreas (BAL-koh-nee of BOR-ee-as)
Vanyel's Home
Perched on the high cliffs overlooking the deep forests of Tir na nOg, Vanyel’s home, Boreas, serves as a watchtower and sanctuary. This dwelling is as much a part of the landscape as the trees it overlooks, designed to blend seamlessly with the natural world Vanyel cherishes.
The architecture of Boreas draws on ancient Mediterranean and Phoenician styles, featuring stone masonry that reflects the art of the old sailors and builders of Vanyel’s ancestry. The home is built with an expansive terrace that faces the sea, capturing the brisk breezes that Vanyel uses to guide his meditations and magical practices.
Inside, the decor incorporates elements of the sea and the forest, with murals depicting ancient myths and the natural cycles of life. Vanyel’s affinity for the wild is evident in every aspect of the home, from the open, airy rooms that invite the outside in, to the subtle enchantments woven through the fabric of the building that enhance harmony with nature.
