Toril forest
The Toril forest makes up a large part of the Gridanau peninsula. The forest is a dense and dark wilderness home to orcs, goblins and several monsters. The centre of the forests are small mountains making the forest steep and hilly.
In the parts of forests that borders Duchy Sattleibeaux and Pharynx the Blackblood clan, Chipped Scimitars make their homes.
Geography
Within the centre of the forest there is a small but high mountain range with the few peaks being covered in snow. The thawing snow waters the forest throught several small streams growing into rivers. Most of the rivers on the eastern side flow into the large swamp.
Localized Phenomena
The forest feels dark and evil and travelers get a feeling that they are not welcome within it.

All the most common animals with bears on top of the food chain.

History
The Toril forests outskirts used to be cultivated by the local settlements before the fateful time when the orcs were available to enter it. Today it is much to dangerous to enter the forests unless you are heavily armed or large numbers.
