Clanna Nee

Clanna Nee is a small, bustling Daoine trading port located on the southern tip of Baeddon in the Kingdom of Kildare. The town’s compact stone and wood buildings cluster around a crescent-shaped bay, offering safe harbor to merchant vessels that brave the coastal waters. Though small, Clanna Nee plays a vital role in the region’s economy, with its docks filled with goods coming in from neighboring towns and those shipped across the sea.   To the west, Cors Kerri Bog looms. Clanna Nee’s inhabitants have learned to respect the bog, sharing cautionary tales of those who’ve been lost to its murky depths. Traders often leave offerings at the edge of the bog before departing, seeking to avoid ill fortune on their journeys.   To the east, across a narrow bay, the Cliffs of Du'Derry rise dramatically from the sea. These towering cliffs are renowned for their stark beauty, with the winds and sea constantly battering them, creating a haunting melody heard from the town’s shores. Legends speak of old, forgotten fey whose voices echo in the wind against the cliffs.   North of Clanna Nee lies Llyreth Forest, a vast stretch of ancient woods that, while beautiful, is not without its dangers. The forest’s dense canopy hides many secrets—hermit druids, strange fey, and sometimes bandits who hide from the law. Despite its dangers, the forest is also a source of fine timber and wild game for the town, and it connects the people of Clanna Nee to their rich natural surroundings.   Clanna Nee’s people are hardy traders and skilled craftsmen, known for working with the natural resources of both the forest and the sea. The town is steeped in tradition, with frequent festivals that celebrate the changing of the seasons, marked by vibrant Daoine music and dance.
