Moonlight Lake
The Moonlight Lake is fed by rivers from the Death Reach Mountains and the eastern end of Stovia. On its northern shore sits the ancient city of Sounsool.
Geography
The Moonlight Lake is one of the largest lakes of Oros. It is nearly 50 miles long from east to west, and about 20 miles wide from north to south. The lake is very deep, no one knows its true depth.
Ecosystem
This freshwater lake is filled with fish that has adapted to the cold temperatures and the high altitude. Many wild goats live around the shores, which help feed the local bear population.
Climate
The climate is cool yet dry. The lake gets the odd bit of rain and snow, but otherwise the weather is often clear year round.
History
The lake was not always the size it is now. In the past it was much smaller. In fact, there are outskirt section of Sounsool from the Tempest and Dawn Times that are completely underwater.
