Cardinal Desires
Cardinal Desires is a well-known brothel in the Westfield district of Porgorag in the Queendom of Keeleon. It is named for the pink cardinal on the sign. Here, services are provided for coin and shows are performed. It is run by Matriarch Eval.
Unlike other such establishments in Azimuth, alcohol is not served here. According to Matriarch Eval, this is to prevent patrons becoming overly rowdy.
Description
The outside of the building is mostly nondescript. The building is close to the adjacent structures, somewhat masking the size of the interior, which runs long instead of wide. The entrance is a double wooden door with polished doorknobs. Near to the door is an iron-framed sconce bolted to the side of the building. There is a covering of pink glass over the flame, which tints the light coming from it a pinkish hue. Hanging from the sconce and from the polished doorknobs are tassles of fine, red and white beads. The sign is a finely crafted wood-chiseled design of a small cardinal painted pink. Gold leaf letters read "Cardinal Desires". Music can sometimes be heard from the interior. Inside, the smell of heavy perfume, sweat, and smoke is like a wall. The scent is like rhododendron and damp parchment, with a hint of mold and mildew coming off the painted walls. The interior is dimly lit and there’s thick cushions and shawls hanging everywhere, enough to obscure most of the rest of the interior from view. There are many small chandeliers above only giving off low light. Shawls and curtains hang from poles with wires connecting them, which are arranged to portion off sections of the large interior. Some are more private than others, however none of the sections are fully separate from the others and at most have a solid curtain separating them. These sections are arranged in a haphazard fashion, which makes it easy to get turned around. Lush pillows fill these sections. There are male and female orcish dancers with a variety of body types that perform for the patrons. In the center, there’s a round performance stage surrounded by a larger array of pillows. The stage is short, only about two feet off the ground. The edges are painted in alternating pink and red triangles. On the far side of the building is a small backroom with simple beds and facilities for the staff.Notable People

The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
On 7 Jeran 5A 351, Coinguard Gim Gorod visited Cardinal Desires with Nabat, a genasi man. On 31 Jeran 5A 351, Gim Gorod was banned from the premises for his interations with Meena. Matriarch Eval also hired a local minotaur to watch the front door. Gim Gorod would continue to pursue Meena despite the ban. In the very early hours of 2 Adroth 5A 352, Mortimr Gwathagoldrin followed a half-orc man from the Coinguard's residence to Cardinal Desires. However, Mortimr lost him after he entered. Inside, Mortimr saw a hobgoblin dancer perform on stage and overheard rumors about rising tensions with rebels in the west. Later in the day, Demitri and Mortimr spoke with Matriarch Eval, Meena, and Naran about Coinguard Gim Gorod. Naran gave prophecies to both of them, however she was wounded by pink energy from Mortimr. That afternoon, the party convened here and discussed much information. During the discussions, Naran approached and told prophecies for the full party. Afterwards, she fainted and Romsca brought her to the backrooms and healed her. In the evening of 2 Adroth 5A 352, Demitri and Arwin returned and took back the papers left with Matriarch Eval.
