Midnight's Journal: After Sleep is for the Weak

"The shield is finally down...
 
Most of the crew stuck around town to work with civilians while Krieg, Tobias, Royce and Catori went off to the Secret Recipe for supplies. Honestly wouldn't minded scouting out the surrounding waters for additional food, but it would definitely be better to have the extra support. The crew's mission was successfully but... there were definitely some lessons learned.
 
Apparently we currently rely on the library and our communicators for survival. At least as ourselves. It's a concerning prospect. Squishy is no longer quite himself and Catori got transformed though from what little I know of her she is mostly herself? Got to admit, I think the physical changes on her part are an improvement personally. Hopefully she agrees with that, but anyways... the situation does make me ask many questions about what this would mean. Like are those like Royce and Catori the only ones immune? Is it only silver and the communicator that'd provide protection? Is there a way to reverse what occurs? That last question brings the chisel I have to mind... not exactly going to test that possibility any time soon as the only way I can imagine doing so involves stabbing, so definitely a last resort prospect.
 
Either way it was nice getting some real food after all this time. It's unfortunate I couldn't take part in that hunt but I'm sure there will be plenty more opportunities in the future."
