53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
---
In general I try to be welcoming. Treat all new people like a friend and be a kind. As I get to know them, if I like them I'll start treating them like they are family. If they do something that ticks me off though? Well, let's just say I can get very hot-blooded really quickly. It's definitely possible to get back in my good graces and I'll give them a fair shake before I treat them like an enemy, but I won't be nearly as pleasant.
---
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
---
Currently? Hmm... that's a good question. Given my current situation none of my old friends and family are really in my life. Who knows if they ever will be again. Rather depressing to think about actually. Suppose I'll have to get to know the crew better and get back to you. If I were to pick someone from my old friends and family though? I'd actually say Nilly despite not seeing her often. She's always been the one to grant me a different perspective. The concoctions her and her family have made have actually saved our lives more than a few times too. Her hyperactive personality also gives her an aura of joy. A week with her can let out an entire year worth of stress just from the laughter.
---
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
---
I feel like I've hinted at this a few times already, but definitely my adoptive father. Raising me all on his own? Hunting monsters to the point where even cost him his leg? And even after that learning to become a master smith to still be able to help the village. All without ever complaining. There's no one back home that doesn't respect him. Heck, many parents would expect you to follow their footsteps and though I chose the same path he did in his youth, it was my choice, not his. All he did was push me to be the best I could be at it.
---
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
---
My main friends would be Kalolin, Hargak and Nilly.
Kalolin, or Linlin as I call her, is a supportive type, always treating everyone's wounds, keeping everyone accountable to themselves and pretty much acts like a big sister.
Hargak is a former bully of mine but we bonded over lost friends and we work together well. He's always putting himself in danger and is a good drinking buddy though he's a bit of a crier when he gets drunk.
Nilly is an excitable little squirrel girl with enough energy to outpace a thousand wolves and one of the best brains for alchemy. She's always playing pranks, telling stories, running all over the place and is in general a fun time to be around.
My best friend Notroc died a long time ago. That guy loved everything about fighting but also had a strong sense of justice. He loved the excuse to fight but he always wanted some reason he could justify to himself. He always watched my back, toughened me up, and always helped me out when I needed it. One of my goals in this new place I find myself in is to find a drink similar to the one he always drank so I can drink in his honor again as I once did every time I drank back home.
---
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
---
I do not at this time.
---
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
---
I have not. yet. I've had childhood crushes, but nothing I'd describe as love.
---
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
---
I have a bit of a thing for tan skin and snow white hair if I'm honest. Probably a big part of why I had some underlying attraction for Kalolin even if I don't feel like she'd be a lover. Personality-wise? Definitely love women with a more wild and carefree side but a gentle heart. Someone capable of grounding me when I might go too far but isn't a stick in the mud.
---
60. How close are you to your family?
---
I respect my adoptive father above all others though admittingly, it is hard to feel close with someone who barely speaks sometimes. I don't know what he's thinking most of the time? Like over time I gained a better understanding but he's definitely not the sort I can go to with every problem.
---
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
---
No. I would love to though. Whether it be by blood or by adoption. To return the kindness and knowledge I have been given and pass it on to the next generation.
---
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
---
My comrade at arms. Anyone who is willing to risk death at your side is someone you can trust to help you out of a bind. I hope the crew I'm with now continue to prove that belief.
---
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
---
That... is a strange question. I don't feel like I need protecting. Protecting oneself is one's own responsibility for the most part, even if I usually only apply that to myself. I suppose this is a repeat of the previous question. If someone is fighting at my side I need to be able to trust them to watch my back. Linlin did this with her protection and healing magics for example. Hargak did this by taking to the front lines.. and my father DID save my life once. Hmm... suppose not so strange a question when I think about it.
---
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
---
I expect much of the village would mourn me. Nilly though... Nilly would cry. Gods, how long have I been gone? Does she know yet that I've gone missing? While I'm not sure I'd return home yet given the opportunity, I'd at least want to send a letter back for her sake.
---
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
---
One shouldn't speak ill of the dead... let's just say he bullied me my whole life. I wasn't the one that killed him but not sad he's gone. Just regret that it was in a situation where I had some responsibility for his life.
---
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
---
Depends on the situation. I won't avoid conflict just for the sake of it but I won't argue if I don't think it is overly important. Better to make the best decision possible as a group even if I don't always see all the benefits. However there are some things one must stand up for full force.
---
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
---
I try to, yes. That isn't to say I can't follow, but if I have an idea, I'll gladly lead the way on it.
---
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
---
Hmm... I don't mind it, but there is the problem of it being hard to get to know everyone? If it's people I know? No problem. If it's not? Can be a bit overwhelming.
---
69. Do you care what others think of you?
---
Only if I care about them.
---
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
---
I do truthfully love hunting as entertainment but I do make a point not to waste anything. Fishing is nice too. Good when you need a snack but want to relax. Or you can treat it as hunting and spear fish.
---
71. What is your most treasured possession?
---
Well it WAS my bram fur cloak from my 14th birthday... until I lost it trying to warm up a blood blob who was frozen solid. Hell if I know what happened to it after that but I suspect I'm not ever getting it back.
---
72. What is your favorite color?
---
Tie between white, silver and black really in different situations and combinations.
---
73. What is your favorite food?
---
Honey-aged venison glazed in a berry sauce. Gives that dark meat just the right amount of sweetness. Mmmm, mm mmmmm. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
---
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
---
Adventure stories, geography books, bestiaries and... let's just say art books.
---
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
---
String and woodwind focused instrumentals are nice, a good epic told in song. Those are my favorites but I'm not overly picky.
---
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
---
I definitely drink. A lot. I drink to remember, drink to soothe the wounds. Drink to warm the heart. Drink to loosen my inhibitions. I drink for many reasons and in many different situations and I have no intention or desire to stop.
---
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
---
At the bar, drinking, socializing, and from there it varies.
---
78. What makes you laugh?
---
Slapstick humor, raunchy humor, jokes that play with expectations, people doing goofy and stupid garbage... least that's what comes to mind right now. List is probably longer.
---
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
---
The willingness of people to sacrifice the lives of other for their own gain. At least it did at one point. It's the one time I can remember reaching a point of near uncontrollable rage.
---
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
---
Exercise mostly. I've had nights where I've just ran until I forced myself to pass out. Just work off the energy until I have none left so I don't burn myself out staying awake.
---
81. How do you deal with stress?
---
Drinking, partying, exercise, fighting, sex, and comedy shows. Bet that last one caught you a bit off guard. I love a good comedian. A good joke. Heck, just a bit of tomfoolery. I don't feel overly capable of being such myself, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it.
---
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
---
Always try to have a plan but a bit of spontaneity is healthy. Both in fighting for when something doesn't go according to plan and to keep a bit of spice in life.
---
83. What are your pet peeves?
---
Disloyalty is at the top of the list. Someone who puts their own convenience about the needs of others is absolutely infuriating. Also not a fan of pompous, self-important attitudes.
