Mushroom experiments
Great concept.
Could dig a cave system around the Silver Thimble, farm them using water brought in from central pool? They didn't suggest it but maybe will offer the suggestion to the city planners.
Experimentation methods could use work. Randomly throwing mushrooms at problems is a good way to get people poisoned.
Otter with the Horse Experiment - 2/5
Capturing big and small creatures and vivisecting them to study for more normal sized creatures.
Seems needlessly cruel? Like even as a hunter myself I'm unsettled by that.
Why not look into better meat processing methods? Larger butchering teams with large cutting equipment? Magic assistance? Ruins the challenge of the hunts?
Capturing method too rudimentary... no detailed plan to use ALL the material brought to them.
Why not invest in rift research to bring creatures here?

Chemical "semi-sentient" cleaning slime
OH GOD THE SMELL! KILL ME KILL ME KILL ME! Ginger scent it or something! MY NOOOOOOOSE
Akhana - 4/5
Communication crystal accessorization
Endless possible uses. Akhana doesn't realize the full implications of what we have.
This goes well beyond normal communication uses. The audience bringing up personal broadcasting and music broadcasting were right on the money.
The danger of the crystals is concerning.
Peanut & Rupert - 4/5
Digging a hole to the other side of Liminal
Is Liminal actually flat or otherwise unusual shaped? I know Meterra is spherical. There is a whole wide variety of reasons that is the shape that makes the most sense but Liminal is not normal.
Dungeons? There are dungeons underground? Interesting.... I'd love to delve them. Underground ruins in my world are plentiful, but that's due to old civilizations. Occasionally you'll find things living in them, but rarely have they don't more than repair what was already there.
What kind of equipment are they actually going to build? It's intriguing.
