"I swear on the Heart of the World that the Librarian will be destroyed. That he shall know no peace, no rest, no comfort if it is within my power to crush it. He has slain a crewmate today. While I did not know Royce well, he was clearly a great fighter, a great genius, and a great crewmember. He will be missed by many. I regret that I did not spend much time with him, but the missions we were on and my fights with and against him were joyous moments in my life. I will not forgive the one who took that away. I will not forget. The Librarian says he'll be coming? Well my fangs will be waiting.... and he will suffer."
"It makes me angry repeating what happened. But I must to make sure the memory never fades. We were on a mission to remove the silver mountain we crashed into Liminal. The main location of my first mission with him in fact. Where I met Tsoki as well. Royce seemed to know something was going to happen as he expressed as much to me when recruiting me for his team. I wasn't sure what to expect but I won't turn down a call for action from a crewmate."
"So away we went. To the engine room that once rested within the mountain. We soon found a strange rift within that Royce immediately jumped through. I didn't know what was going on at first. The figure inside was unfamiliar to me at first. However I couldn't leave him on his own with that rift soon closing so I followed. Inside was this paper man wearing a red suit reading a book in some strange world. I had my suspicions, but when Royce attacked and he soon summoned paper soldiers? I knew exactly what we were dealing with. The fight that ensued was challenging to say the least. We were knocked around to all sorts of scenes, all sorts of realities, fighting old memories, battling many clones of the librarians, battling his soldiers. It was overwhelming. I even resorted to testing out the Kukla's transformation magic. It worked thankfully. I can fully recharge it. Still, even that power was not enough. Not even with my Shadow Shroud magic in addition. We soon got dogpiled and overwhelmed. The strength of my transformation got me free but Royce had his arm broken by the Librarian while Akhana and Patagon were getting overwhelmed and buried. Royce was out of reach and I could only save one of the other two...."
"The choice.. was surprisingly easy. I have nothing against Patagon, but well, I know Akhana more. I know Lio had a crush on her, I know I enjoyed my interactions with her, while Patagon I hardly knew. He's just the communications guy. As cold as that might be to say. It's not that seeing him broken to an inch of his life is easy for me, it's not. Still, a choice had to be made quickly and I admit I acted purely on personal feelings. Still this may have been the right choice in the end. This was also the moment Royce was killed and sealed away in a book. A book we only retrieved because of Akhana. I knew at that moment with two of us down we had to get out. So with the Librarian not truly being there, I did the one thing I could. I unleashed all of the energy of my transformation into a single massive mass of shadow to hopefully disrupt him long enough to pull out the chisel from Tsoki's world and jam it into the fabric of reality."
"I thought for a moment I sensed the Librarian in pain but I was incredibly focused on escape at that moment. I didn't realize it until after Akhana confirmed the thought to me later. The important thing is though that we escaped... but the Librarian knows where we are now. He will be coming. When he does? I will make him beg for forgiveness."
