Midnight's Journal: After Palm Reader

A rather simple mission for most of the crew this time around. Go to Yoke, help out around town.
 
Before heading out I made sure to pick up a magic scroll in preparation to heal the damaged land as one of their major issues were their fields. Apparently Tsoki had the same idea and we both ended up working together to heal the land. It seemed to work well enough. I think they'll be able to start growing things again immediately. At least I hope. It's a wait and see situation.
 
My next priority was the drug situation though apparently some of the other crew had already been well on the way treating that and helping out in the slums. With that handled then I went to speak with the soldiers who were apparently not really wanted around Yoke and listless. Back home it would be easy to get such people speaking. Share you stories of hardship and triumph and often they'll share the same. However I couldn't catch any of their interests. They'd let me talk to them, but then move off, like they were bored. A strange reaction to say the least. The drug withdrawal perhaps? No, else such a problem would have been more widespread, wouldn't it? Perhaps they've lost all hope but then, such a situation would usually lead to one's interest being piqued given an opportunity I feel. So if it's such a thing, it is more like their very spirit is broken. It's a difficult puzzle piece together.
 
Also need to find out what was going on with that Rhino guard. He just stormed past just shouting variations of "No", going all the way out of town. I don't really know what to say about that. Maybe I'll ask around the crew about it. Things were going far too well around town overall, so I can only imagine there was something that blew up spectacularly elsewhere.
