41. The Golden Griffin Inn

This three-storey stone building accommodates Etterboak’s elite residents, invited guests and visitors who wish to stay longer than one night.   This prestigious Inn is is bustling with merchants, nobles, and well to do. From the outside this house looks nice and traditional. It has been built with tan bricks and has grey brick decorations. Tall, squared windows let in plenty of light and have been added to the house in a mostly symmetric way. The building is rectangular shaped. The house is half surrounded by overgrown wooden overhanging panels. The second floor is the same size as the first, which has been built exactly on top of the floor below it. This floor has roughly the same style as the floor below. The roof is high, triangular and layered and is covered with black roof tiles. Two large chimneys poke out the center of the roof. A few large windows let in just enough light to the rooms below the roof. The house itself is surrounded by a gorgeous garden with many hidden lights that make the garden come to life at night.   Stepping inside the air is filled with the smells of good food and the sounds of pleasant music. Marble floors and columns with large statues and paintings adorn the entrance hall. At a podium a well dressed Maitre d'hotel who obviously oversees the waitpersons and busboys, and who typically handles reservations looks up from his pages, clears his throat politely but firming and asks "Do you have a reservation lords?" Two well armored and armed guards leaning against a pillar glance your way sizing up potential trouble.
The Golden Griffin Inn is an upscale establishment located on the east side of Etterboek, next to Merrow Merchant House and at the foot of the Browich Bridge. This three-story stone building caters to Etterboek’s elite residents, invited guests, and visitors who wish to stay longer than one night, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay for all its patrons.
