Haaros (HAH-ross)
The Haaros is an extremely high, solitary, unforgiving mountain situated where the corners of Kiva, Unenshuut, and Ustraria meet. Historically there has been argument over which of these three countries can 'claim' the mountain as their own, and even attempts at equal division have proved difficult, confusing, and mutable. It currently stands as its own entity much in the same way as the Creqira.
It is considered the ancestral land of the fauns and an important cultural site, especially in their coming-of-age practice, the Ascent of the Haaros. Mining and timber-farming is prohibited within a large radius of its base, and hunting above a certain altitude.
