Taevamarsh (TAY-vuh-marsh)
Taevamarsh was a town located southeast of the Tyce Morass in northwest Unenshuut; situated at a crossroads, it served as a minor trading post. It was destroyed during the War of the Six and has not been repopulated.
History
The war poet Akasien Ttarvek was invited to Taevamarsh by the reigning Lord Brethus in mid-988AC and composed "An Evening at Taevamarsh" there, after witnessing an unusual bloodsport: Lord Brethus tossing an illicitly-acquired, legimate ikam fruit into a courtful of bloodsingers. The bloodsingers proceeded to maim and kill one another and the victor, on consuming the fruit, was killed from its unpredictable side-effects.
This event was reputedly not an anomalous example of cruelty, as Lord Brethus had a reputation for masochism and tyranny. This contributed to the town being fully abandoned after its destruction despite its useful location.
