Sinks
Sinkholes -- known as 'sinks' -- are a common geographical feature of Icalar. Most are incredibly old, and they are widespread throughout the continent. The vast majority are static, meaning they have shown no signs of growth in recent memory, but as the continent's earthquakes increase signs of growth are also beginning to appear.
The largest sink is in western Seyis-Gol in the Three Ribs, between Hooth's River and the Acheche River's terminus, and is locally known as Arrowshadow due to its vague arrow shape. Although data on sink depth is limited and dangerous to obtain, Arrowshadow and two of the Iyran sinks are speculated to be the deepest. Some have also argued that Seyis-Gol's terrain itself suggests that it was once a connected system of sinks.
