Tycephaur Lake (TICE-eff-hour)

Tycephaur Lake is the largest lake in Icalar, and is Kiva's primary source of fresh water. It is located just south of Seishmeb toward the Kiva-Unenshuut border; there have in the past been contentions by Unenshuut over portions of its eastern shoreline in particular.
Along with being a water source it underpins alternate means of income for Kivan tribes (such as fishing), and contributed to the founding of the capital in an otherwise nomadic nation.

Geography

The lake has a broad, petal shape with an irregular shoreline. Its depth varies from remarkably shallow to relatively deep, though it is certainly not the deepest lake in Icalar. Its northeastern edge is prone to flooding -- giving the lake its nickname of 'the Running Lake' -- and occasionally fills the nearby Tyce Morass in Unenshuut, near the base of the Haaros.
