Tubisqu River (Too-BISK-oo)

The Tubsiqu River (or simply 'the Tubisqu') is the second-longest river on Icalar (behind the Laqalney River) and runs from the center of the Eizunuth Well south; it marks the Iyr-Ustraria border and cuts through the center of Unenshuut to end in the marshes surrounding Kastis.   Where the Tubisqu splits at the southeastern corner of Ustraria into the Acheche River, Gell's Landing is formed. Next there is a small dead-end branch known as Cojaea Run on the southeast shore, while the bedrock creates a net-like series of several small channels and four moderate tributaries -- known as the Tubisqu Net or 'the net of the Tubisqu' -- that follow the arc of the river west before rejoining it as it bends south. Halfway from Cojaea Run along the main artery of the river to its terminus it splits east into Hooth's River, but otherwise carries on south. Near its end, the Sebat River splits east and, aside from Hooth's River, is the Tubisqu's most southern-reaching arm. Keismeb lies on the eastern shore fairly centralized to the country.   The most direct way to cross the Tubisqu and its net of tributaries near the Unenshuut-Ustraria border is the Ashspoken Bridge system, beginning at the north of the country not far from the Rivens and heading in a relatively straight line south for Keismeb.

Geography

It is generally a moderate to slow-moving river with a brief stint of rapids as it runs through Iyr, but halfway down the Qos Spear it begins to widen and slow. By the time it reaches Unenshuut it has become gentler and shallower, narrowing briefly past Cojaea Run and the split into Hooth's River. Around Eibe it has become broad and enters its delta-swamp form, wade-able in most areas.
