Raarq River (RARK)
The Raarq River (or simply 'the Raarq') is a small river located solely in Seyis-Gol that is both an old path of the Laqalney River from which it branches and an overflow; in dire summers, it is nearly an oxbow lake.
It branches off the Laqalney at the Seyis-Gol-Balaqalneyis border in the northwestern corner, following a gentle curve south. It has its own minor dead-end inlet at its southernmost point, but most of its water manages to curve north to rejoin the Laqalney in roughly the center of the country. The island this creates is known as the Isle of the Cradle, an important holy site for adherents of the Cradle of Mists.
Accatren sits on its eastern bank to the north.
